I graduated from Rutgers University New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. I currently tutor a range of subjects including accounting, business, mathematics, algebra, and English. I have extensive experience as a tutor for students from kindergarten to college age. My approach to tutoring is that it is a dynamic profession involving many teaching styles, and it is critical to adapt those styles to meet students' individual needs. I always make sure I hold true to three key ingredients in all of my sessions: I listen to their concerns and criticisms, maintain patience through the challenging times, and offer generous encouragement to boost their confidence. At the onset of a session I assess a student's knowledge of a subject thus far, identify in which areas they are struggling, and refine my teaching to meet their methods of learning to ensure full comprehension and consistent quality in their work. In other areas of my professional life, I have presented material and training programs to fellow colleagues. I have also been a Sunday school teacher to elementary level kids and Bible study to high school age and up. My hobbies and interests include exercise, reading, music, movies, and travel.
